Hi, I’m Lara—a Spanish artist and art teacher living in Montreal, Canada, by the Saint Lawrence River.
Ever since I can remember, I’ve been drawn to art—painting, crafting, and all things creative. After completing my studies in Fine Arts and Education, I found my way to painting as my primary medium of artistic expression.
Over time, my interest has expanded to photography and other mediums that allow me to notice and appreciate the beauty in everyday details—my children growing, flowers blooming, and the quiet moments in between. I believe art exists in everything we create with intention and care.
Through my work, I seek to capture moments, memories, and emotions with a gentle and attentive gaze. I enjoy portraying my family and friends, as well as the nature and flora that surround me. I’m always open to learning, playing, and creating with what I have at hand.
